INGREDIENTS:
1 head garlic, crushed
150 grams onion, chopped
3½ cups canned button mushrooms. sliced
1 pouch (750 g) Sweet Style Spaghetti Sauce
3 cans (184 g each) tuna chunks in oil, drained
3 bags (500 g each) pan americano (or sliced bread), edges removed
3 cups quickmelt cheese, grated
PROCEDURE:
1. Sauté garlic, onion and mushrooms. Add Spaghetti Sauce and tuna. Simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside.
2. Fit each bread into muffin pan. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees F for 3 minutes. Fill each bread “cup” with 1-2 tablespoons of sautéed mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for another 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
